Visit to friends in Charlottesville, VA!

What a wonderful delight to be reunited with our friends and family Scott and Cindy Pearson whom we have worked together in World Relief Rwanda. We also met again the parents whom we have seen briefly as they visited Rwanda in 2005. It was a special treat for us to hold their son Cade (3 months). God is good. This trip was part of the miracle of coming here to the United States for studies! Cindy and I worked together on a Child Development project in Masaka, Rwanda. When the parents visited us, we both said that it would be wonderful to come and visit them, well this was a real dream come true! God works in mysterious ways, and knows how to give us the desires of our hearts! What a special treat! kids got to play in a park and also mostly with a special friend Pluto who is four legged and fully covered with white long hair, he is nice and very calm! We had a great time with our friends and we had an opportunity to meet more friends at a nearby Emmaus Christian Church where we visited that Sunday. May God bless everyone! We are so grateful!
Back to Wheaton, the weather has been warmer for a while and chilly in some other times. JP is back to school and has enjoyed to be back with his friends. Josephine and Kevine are going to continue to be involved in a mothers and children church 'get together'. I have enrolled for one more course in Theological foundations which I felt was a wonderful opportunity to get it this spring. I am also very excited at another course in Holy Spirit and Mission which is about discoering the works of the Holy Spirit in the Bible, and which I hope will help me a lot in seeing God's footsteps in our ministry, making sure that God is ahead and leading. We are also back to our Church of the Resurrection here in Wheaton and activities are continuing as we serve the Lord in this church.
Meanwhile, our African prayer team resumed our prayers and we were delighted to see each other to thank God for all the protection on our lives during the Christmas break. He answered all our prayers! We are praying for all Pastors in Africa, African leaders, for peace in Kenya as well as the whole Great Lakes Region. Join us also in praying for orphans in Rwanda, those who are in remote areas with little or no support.
Maranatha, come Lord Jesus!
God bless you
