It was Sunday October 7th! friends came around, kids played and we had a wonderful fellowship!
We have a praise because three orphans that were under our care while we were back home in Rwanda, have received help from a wonderful believer. He decided to take them under his responsibility while we are away studying. Emmanuel, Sylvia and Claire will not worry about their school fees now.
God is good! Billy Graham Center has a prayer gathering for all the scholars they have supported. We are finding this fellowship very helpful and we are gaining a lot. Our church has organised a family outing to pick apples in a farm, so our family is going along to have fun.
JP is learning how to read. It is an interesting time for him, we pray that the reading habit would kick in.
Our lives have been blessed by varous visits from many good friends of ours including Stephan Bauman, Margie Gustafson, and Kathy Vaselkiv whom we met in World Relief Rwanda back in 2006. It was wonderful to connect again here in Wheaton.
One other good thing about Wheaton is the international friendship program. We were assigned a US family who was willing to become friends with us. We are very excited to meet with them this coming Sunday and we hope and pray that this would be a start of a long term friendship. We think a lot about Rwanda. Especially our church in Kacyiru and the Diocese of Kigeme who has received us with warmth on numerous occasions. We never forget our friends in South Africa, St John's Parish, Marge Prince and Jan en Hilda Van Niekerk. We are praying for you all. Thank you for partnering with us in God's Kingdom! Lord help us.
