Arrival in Wheaton

The trip has been wonderful even if it was quite tiring... Mahoro requested milk 24 hrs... even when we got in Amsterdam...Even though she hated the seat belts as well on the plane as in cars, she is the one that is doing much better after the time difference of 7 hours. She still wakes up at 4:00 am! She recuperates with an early nap after which she consumes almost a gallon of milk! Mahoro also celebrated her birthday on Sunday aug.19th, so friends from church of the resurrection who had just seen her decided to come home with a cake to sing a happy birthday! Mahoro got already one friend that day: Isabelle! JP can't wait to see the day come so that he can go and play with our neighbours' kids who are from Burkina Faso! Even if he can communicate with their parents in French, He cannot speak to Elienai who is just his age! He just speaks to him in Kinyarwanda which is just easier! Everyone looked very tired at the end of the trip. But that was just the beginning of much more excitement... Pray for a smooth adjustement for all of us. Thank you Lord for answering our prayers... Thanks to all of you who have supported us in many ways, especially praying for us. May God bless you. Lord use us as your instruments...
